Get Your Body Vegas Ready In 2 Weeks Flat!

Viva Las Vegas!
Yep, I’m headed back and this time I will not be told “no”—or anything in the “no” category. It’s Vegas for God’s sake. I didn’t think that word “no” even existed there. Turns out, it does.
“Maam, will you please get down. Miss, stop that. Hey blondie, that’s not your drink! No!! Stop it!! That's not yours!!! He’s not yours!!! Put her down!!!! Put him down!!!!!”
What a cautious group, those bouncers are. Shhheesh.
This time we’re going for my niece’s 21st birthday. I think I’ll leave the chaos and “nos” to her. Then again ...
What about you? Do you have any vacations planned? Anything you would like to get that bod looking good for? Sure you do.
The question really is: How are you going to get from flab to fab by the time that planes leaves and your ass is sitting in the seat eating stale peanuts?
Have no fear, The Vegas Vortex Makeover is here. Five ways to turn your double deuce into a hot pair of aces. Not sure what that means exactly, but follow my guide and in 14 days, you’re gonna look better. Done.
  • No.1 Start trashing! Go through your pantry, cupboards, fridge and freezer. Literally throw out all grains (yes, even whole wheat), weird processed boxed items, sodas, sugary things, chips, cookies, crap, fatty meats, salty deli meats and anything that claims to be a “diet” food. Bye bye!

  • No. 2 Start shopping!
  • Fill your cart with super-duper foods only. If they don’t fall under this category, don’t buy it. Super-lean meats, lots of fresh and frozen vegetables and fruits, low-fat dairy (but don’t go crazy on the stuff), unsalted nuts and seeds, olive oil.

  • No. 3 Start cooking!
  • If you get hungry and you don’t have healthy food prepared, you’ll go find something that is prepared and it won’t be on your Vegas Vortex Diet. If you must eat out, try a cool, healthy place that won’t cause you to bust. Cook a bunch of meats, chop ’em up, put them in containers, done. Now you have your proteins. Chop up your veggies, put ’em in containers, done. Ready for salads, snacks, stir frys, whatever. Portion out the nuts and seeds into eco friendly cloth bags.  These are the ones I use and they're awesome and friggin' cute! The Tea Rex Reuseable Bags

  • No. 4 Start moving!
  • Work out five to six days per week for an intense 30-40 minutes max. Two of those days should be double days. Something in the morning and something at night. Just two days, it won’t kill you. Stop complaining, you’re going on vacation soon!

  • No. 5 Stop partying!
  •  What? It’s just for 14 days. You know I’m never one to say this, but lock the liquor cabinet, take the beer out of the fridge and just chill out. Save those calories for your trip.
Look, I’m no dietitian, just a trainer who knows how to safely get you looking your best for Rehab at the Hard Rock. If you have specific needs, like not going to Vegas, then don’t follow my plan. It’s very strict, very healthy  but highly effective.
Have fun!
